To maintain visibility, organizations must move beyond "tool testing" and operationalize governed workflows that protect brand integrity across the Triple-Visibility Framework, which includes Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI Overviews (AIO). By implementing a Decision Lock framework, brands ensure that every AI output is strategically intentional and brand-compliant, preventing the generic "risk signals" that cause modern buyers to eliminate brands during the search process.

The primary ROI of Generative AI is realized through Reclaimed Margins. This is the strategic ability to decouple content output from headcount by transitioning from linear production cycles to exponential Strategic Leverage. By operationalizing Governed Workflows, organizations can scale high-authority brand assets globally without increasing agency spend or compromising brand integrity. To confidently defend this investment to the C-Suite, marketing leaders must move beyond "efficiency" metrics and use an AI Performance Scorecard to measure the reclaimed production hours and the resulting increase in high-intent referral traffic from AI answer engines.

Successful organizations implement a 90-day AEO Roadmap to move their teams from keyword-centric discovery to an entity-based "Selection" model, securing high-intent referral traffic as AI models become the primary gatekeepers of consumer choice.

In my experience advising more than 300 brands on the Fortune 500 list, I've seen that using AI as a Ghostwriter creates "risk signals." These signals trigger a buyer's instinct to eliminate your brand due to a perceived lack of ownership, authenticity, and strategic depth.

Conversely, using AI as a Strategist allows you to conduct Interrogation over Improvement. Instead of using the technology to "polish" mediocre text, you use it to pressure-test your logic and identify competitive gaps your competitors are missing. By applying the Decision Lock framework, leaders move from simply "producing more content" to creating high-authority, defensible assets that position their organization as the only safe choice in a landscape dominated by Frontier Engines.

AEO is the strategic pivot from discovery to selection. In a landscape now dominated by Frontier Engines (LLMs), it is no longer enough for your brand to be found in a list of links; it must be chosen and trusted by the AI models themselves. Using my Triple Visibility Framework (AEO, GEO, and AIO), I help organizations move beyond "AI tool hype" to secure the primary citation spot. With a background in theater and dialogue writing, Leanne has a special talent for capturing an audience’s attention while being hyper-aware of a brand’s voice. Good copy is, to her, a complex potion made of dialogue, poetry, visual art, psychology, and computer science. Luckily, these are some of her favorite subjects!
